The Tum is the most constructed bag in the collection — and it shows, in the best possible way.

Built around an internal frame, it opens with the wide, authoritative swing of a doctor's bag, holds its shape whether full or empty, and stands on its own without assistance. This is not a bag that collapses into itself at the end of the day. The structure is part of the design — the frame gives the Tum a presence that purely crocheted bags, however beautiful, cannot replicate.

The body is hand-crocheted from Pontova viscose and lurex worked in multiple strands — the Pontova bringing its characteristic density and vivid colour, the lurex threading light through every stitch. The doctor closure snaps open and shut with the satisfying precision of something engineered rather than improvised. Inside, the linen lining is hand-stitched  — the same unhurried finishing found in every Lorenza Gandaglia piece, invisible to the eye but present in the hand.

No two are identical — the lurex catches light differently in every piece, and the Pontova carries its own variations in texture and tone. Every Tum carries Lorenza's hand-signed label inside: her personal mark that this piece left her hands, and no one else's.
